CHEST RUBS & NASAL INHALANTS

Used for temporary relief of nasal congestion and stuffiness due to common cold, hay fever, or upper respiratory allergies. Helps relieve chest congestion and provides a soothing sensation in respiratory passages. Commonly used to ease breathing difficulties during cold and flu symptoms. May help provide comfort during minor throat irritation and cough associated with cold.

Works through aromatic compounds that stimulate sensory receptors in the nose and airways. The cooling sensation from menthol and camphor activates cold receptors, creating a feeling of improved airflow. Eucalyptus oil and other essential oils have mild decongestant properties that help reduce the sensation of nasal stuffiness. The vapours provide a soothing effect on irritated respiratory passages, offering symptomatic relief from congestion.

Generally well-tolerated when used as directed. Skin irritation, redness, or mild burning sensation may occur at the application site in some individuals. Rarely, allergic reactions like rash, itching, or swelling may develop. Excessive use may cause skin sensitivity or excessive cooling sensation. Most side effects are mild and temporary. If irritation persists or worsens, discontinue use and consult a healthcare provider.

For chest rubs: Apply a thin layer on the chest, throat, or back and gently massage. Avoid applying on broken skin, wounds, or near eyes and nostrils. For nasal inhalants: Inhale vapours directly from the container or apply a small amount to a handkerchief. Wash hands thoroughly after application. Use only as directed on the label. Do not ingest orally. Keep away from children's reach and follow the pharmacist's instructions carefully.

Pregnancy/Breastfeeding: Consult your doctor before use during pregnancy or while breastfeeding, though topical use is generally considered safe. Not for oral consumption: These products are for external use or inhalation only; never swallow. Children: Use with caution in young children; avoid use in infants under 2 years unless advised by a doctor. Skin sensitivity: Do not apply on damaged skin, wounds, or near mucous membranes.
